During the 1940s the three Dinning Sisters (originally Lou plus twins Ginger and Jean) made a name for themselves singing sweet harmonies Andrews Sisters style. With roots in rural Oklahoma, their professional career began in 1938, whilst still teenagerson a local radio show singing cowboy-type songs, later moving to Chicago and achieving much wider fame.
This generously priced 52 track 2 CD set includes all of their best known original commercial recordings, including hits like "Buttons & Bows" and "BegYour Pardon", together with rare studio recordings from the 1950s.
