This edition includes Duane Eddy's sensational third album, The "Twangs" the "Thang", originally released by the Jamie label in 1959 and long unavailable on vinyl. It would prove to be his most successful LP, peaking at #2 in the UK. The album remained on the charts for six months. Its best songs include the infectious and catchy "Tiger Love and Turnip Greens", and the funny and fascinating "Route No1", which is a country rock-swing mish-mash with an interesting array of chord changes mixed with a complicated melody.
In addition to the original masterpiece, this WaxTime collector's item includes 2 bonus tracks from the same period: "Forty Miles of Bad Road" and "The Secret Seven."
