And what a marvellous way of doing so by means of these two historic organs the sound quality of which, as you can hear, is exquisite, including the charming clatter of the organ action. On track 1-6 played on the North German Baroque organ you should allow yourself to listen for the meantone temperament, a method of tuning keyboard instruments, in frequent use until the end of the 17th and the beginning of the 18th century. The major third is tuned completely pure! Track 7-15 Is performed at the second organ, built by 'father' Henry Willis 1871.' - Erland Hilden
