Stuart Warren-Hill fouder of Hexstatic and one of the origianal creative minds and partners behind The Big Chill Festival and he is well known globally as an innovator. In fact in 2000 he was responsible for the Worlds first ever Audio Visual album releasing Rewind as Hexstatic in Ninja Tune to universal acclaim. He also made 'Timber' with Coldcut and Greenpeace in 1998, which attracted widespread publicity and exposure on MTV. Since that time as one half of Hexstatic he has toured world famously shooting images from a barge to a water screen on the River Thames for The Mayors Thames Festival in 2005.
For the last five years he has been developing his 3D ambitions, composing for and creating the AV tracks for Holotronica. The project has already been previewed as it progressed at The BFI and received a glowing review in the Guardian when they supported Plaid at Koko, describing them as a 'hard act to follow' and Plaids visuals as 'old hat by comparison'. Early shows include appearances at The Kinetic Art Fair, DIGIT Festival Manchester, Mid Summer Nights Dream Festival (Moscow), Bacardi NH7 Weekender Delhi and The Village Underground.
The CD/DVD package comes with specially designed Holotronica anaglyph glasses which are shrink wrapped to the back of the album, The bonus track is a remix by DJ innovator Tom Middleton. Stuart Warren Hill is also the inventor of Holo-Gauze, which is the worlds first large-scale 3D Holographic effect screen. The screen was originally created for the Holotronica project but is attracting the attention of the global performance industry with enquiries and request to view the screen coming from labels, West End shows and leading global brands.
