Divus is the duo from Rome comprised of electronic musician Luciano Lamanna and saxophone player Luca T. Mai (Zu, Mombu).
The collaboration between Lamanna and Mai developes in new territories suprisingly far from their usual sound.
Their influences coming from techno and jazzcore/metal are both left aside in favour of a more nocturnal and atmospheric approach to jazz and electronic music: so dreamy, smokey and dark, It could suit a future sci-fi crime movie shot in one dystopian metropolitan suburb.
DIVUS 3 is their debut on Subsound Records, out in limited edition glow-in-the-dark vinyl & digital in 2025.
