In December 2017, the original line-up (with the exception of drummer Daniele Albertazzi) announced that they had a new EP ready under the pseudonym Dish-Is-Nein , which was released by Contempo Records in January 2018.
On 9 June 2022, guitarist and founding member Dario Parisini passed away. In December 2022, the single 'The Man Machine' was released in digital format. In April 2023, the 7-inch single 'The Metal Machine' was released, featuring a remixed version of the track 'Eva'. On 25 March 2025, they released the LP 'Occidente (A funeral party)'on drums Justin Bennett Skinny Puppy, Peter Murphy and Rozz Williams)
Dish Is Nein are the successor band to Disciplinatha.
