30 Years after its original release in 1984, PTG Records now re-issues one of O’Bryan’s most successful releases, the album "Be My Lover". It was O'Bryan's highest charting collection on the Billboard R&B Albums charts, peaking at nr. 3. The first single, the insistent, chugging "Lovelite" reached the top of the Billboard R&B Singles chart. Due to the success of "Lovelite" Capitol released the second single form this album the up-tempo "Breakin' Together". But it was O'Bryan's ballads like "Lady I Love You", "You’re Always on My Mind;" and "Go on and Cry," which was the third single, that made the album’s success. But the title track "Be My Lover" also became known as one of O'Bryan's better up-tempo songs. Also available on PTG Records is O’Bryan’s debut album "Doin’alright" -
