Description
Glasgow-born singer/songwriter. After the split of the Alice band she continued songwriting and returned to her beloved busking pitch in Glasgow where she was discovered by Rod Stewart, himself a former busker. This led to Rod inviting her to sing a duet with him at the Royal Albert Hall “I Don’t Want To Talk About It”, which was seen by millions on TV (and DVD) around the world. The performance is here:

She has written with a variety of top songwriters including Ivor Novello-winning Eg White (Leave Right Now, Chasing Pavements) and this debut album features some of the best of those. She is currently establishing quite a reputation busking in London Underground stations.
