Make sure you do check it out! main influences come from the old school thrash/death scene (Sepultura, Metallica, Death) 'Angel Rising is a one man band with guests founded in 2018. Before embracing its unique progressive death style, Angel Rising was known under the name of Listenangel and was running a successful guitar shredding youtube channel counting almost 2 million views. On april 18th 2018 Angel Rising's self titled first album was released, featuring the famous drummer Kevin Talley (Dying Fetus, Suffocation...).The second album "Immortal Volition" (artwork by the amazing Paolo Girardi) was released 2022. This darker album offers an even more technical and ambitious death-metal, while remaining faithful to the origins of the genre. Following the album release, a graphic novel, Asai and the Neon King, was created and helped understanding the complex narrative structure of Immortal Volition. But Angel Rising did not stop there and kept on recording new songs. Less than a year later the third album was almost completed and the renowned international label WormHoleDeath signed the band for the release of their third effort, Afterlife, which will definitely make Angel Rising a force to be reckoned with!
