• THE FIRST IN A SERIES OF 10” RELEASES ACKNOWLEDGING CHERRY RED’S 45TH ANNIVERSARY.
San Francisco’s Dead Kennedys arrived onto the post punk scene of the late 70s and early 80s with something to say and an urgent, razor-sharp sound.
Amid the chaos of their first few years, the band issued a run of classic singles and the album ‘Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables’, hammering home their anticorporate ideology and establishing themselves as the most meaningful punk rock band to emerge from the US in the immediate aftermath of the scene’s arrival.
This unique 10” EP brings together five non-album tracks – the singles ‘Holiday In Cambodia’ and ‘Too Drunk To Fuck’ and a trio of excellent and lesser heard B-sides, all pressed on delicious red vinyl to commemorate Cherry Red’s 45th Anniversary.
