In 2009, you couldn’t ignore Kyteman. It truly was his year. His album“The Hermit Sessions” likely topped the year-end lists of many criticsand music enthusiasts. With his HipHop Orchestra, sometimes 25members strong, Kyteman made more than his mark at numerousfestivals, including Pinkpop, Paaspop, Oerol, North Sea Jazz,Lowlands, Appeop, a sold-out gig at the HMH in Amsterdam, andmany club performances, always bringing the energy to the nextlevel. His appearances on Dutch televisionshows like ‘Raymann IsLaat’ and ‘De Wereld Draait Door’ are also legendary. Now, 15 yearslater, the music has not lost any of its power. It is high time for are-release of this iconic album in a special Anniversary Edition, withan additional insert with photo’s, credits and a reflection by ColinBenders. -
