Description
Nashville's finest return with arguably their most complete album to date.
Comprising ex-Georgia Satellites frontman and chief songwriter Dan Baird, fellow ex-Satellite and drummer extraordinaire Mauro Magellan, Americana Music Association Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Warner E Hodges, probably best known as co-founder of ground breaking alt country rockers Jason & The Scorchers, the line-up is completed by new boy and former Bonafide bassist Micke Nilsson.
The album takes a glorius romp through Baird's lyrical landscape of rural America and its characters, musically harking back to a time when music was fun and albums were designed to be listened to as a whole . With individual tracks evoking the spirit and attitude of early '70's Stones, The Band and The Heartbreakers amongst others.
Always tipping the hat but never derivative.
