Comprising four pieces, the album seamlessly combines a small ensemble of acoustic instruments with live electronics. The electronic components feature brief snippets of the live instruments, sampled in real-time during the performance, then looped and projected back. These loops, reflecting the live musicians onto themselves, gradually build up layers of sound reminiscent of the layers of an ice palace.
