Description
It's exactly 9 years ago when Craig Brann's debut album 'Advent-ure' (SCCD31747) was released on SteepleChase.
The Maine native moved to New York in the mid-90s and since then, though quietly, he has established himself as one of the most-in-demand soloists and band leaders on the New York jazz scene. On this 6th album on SteepleChase Brann brought his trio to the studio with new energy and purpose after the pandemic-induced hiatus.
"There's something for everyone here - and that's just the way of describing New York guitarist Brann's versatility. With invention and wit, he remodels the classic guitar trio to suit multi sourced inspiration...It's a veritable treasure shed of homage, freewheeling and compositional flair." - Nigel Jarrett, Jazz Journal on 'A Conversation Between Brothers' (SCCD31814)
Personnel: Craig Brann (guitar), Nick Morrison (bass), Rudy Royston (drums)
