Soon after Buck Owens offered Susan Raye a management contract, she was signed with Capitol Records and released hit singles, including her Top 30 cover of the Jackie DeShannon Pop hit, "Put a Little Love in Your Heart." Which opens up this LP.
Other popular songs included on '16 Greatest Hits' are her international crossover song "L.A. International Airport", "Pitty, Pitty, Patter" and "Willy Jones". Susan was introduced to millions of fans in the late '60s and '70s as a featured performer on the TV series, Hee Haw.
