Of the remaining five tracks, two are new original instrumentals by Officer; one is a cover of Irma Thomas’ “Ruler Of The Heart� and another is the group’s take on the jazz standard “By Myself�. However, the track that’s sure to win over new fans is the group’s version of the Jimmy Webb classic “By The Time I Get to Phoenix�, a track that beautifully weds their sound with such genre-defying Americana/roots artists as k.d. lang, Emmylou Harris, Nanci Griffith and Cowboy Junkies. -
