Description
Brad Armstrong's second solo album, "I Got No Place Remembers Me" is beautiful, haunting, harshly poetic and really just a hell of a thing to behold. This is not gritty soul. It is soulful grit that fuels this 13 song journey that's well worth taking.
"I Got No Place Remembers Me" as well as "Empire" (Brad's first solo record) were both masterfully reccorded, produced and mixed by Brad himself, and features backing vocals and harmonies by Maria Taylor of Azure Ray.
Brad is the former leader of the critically acclaimed band, 13-Ghosts, which released 6 full length albums between 2002 and 2012. They garnered praise from such respected outlets as Pitchfork, who gave the album "Cicada" a score of 7.8 and a 7.6 to it's follow up "The Strangest Colored Lights".
The aforementioned "Empire", has now been reissued on vinyl by Cornelius Chapel Records and has gained much recognition from syncs on ABC's "Nashville" and Audience Network's "Kingdom" (starring Nick Jonas), including a prominent callback at the open of the Kindom's series finale.
"I Got No Place Remembers Me" will be released worldwide April 19, 2019.
