Andy Pratt's self-titled (sophomore) album was a very quirky, idiosyncratic album that definitely established him as a major force in the singer-songwriter arena. The highlight of the album is the cult-hit "Avenging Annie." Sung mostly in Pratt's falsetto voice, it is a tale of a mythical heroine told from the woman's point of view and it gained a classic status.
Follow up album Resolution (with a stellar cast of musicians and singers and produced by Bee Gees and Chaka Kahn producer Ariff Mardin) also garnered great critical acclaim. Rolling Stone quoted that Pratt "has forever changed the face of rock".
40 years down the line Andy Pratt has produced and released numerous albums.
His recent work with producer Fernando Perdomo uncovered the writing and singing talents of the ever young singer-songwriter and "Do You Remember Me" presents 15 great songs from their fruitful cooperation.
