Description
Saxophonists Dave Liebman and Joe Lovano are joined by tenor saxophonist Ravi Coltrane for this tribute to the legendary John Coltrane. They perform their own arrangements of three late period Coltrane compositions, 'Cosmos', Seraphic Light' and 'Expression'. Trumpeter Randy Brecker joins them on two tracks, including his own composition "Message To Mike" that's dedicated to the memory of the late Michael Brecker, his brother, who was in the original Saxophone Summit lineup.
