'Just Another Day at the Office' by the leading Danish drummer Anders Mogensen, also features the US tenor saxophonist Gary Thomas, pianist Carl Winther and bassist Daniel Franck. They perform seven original compositions by Anders, Kurt Weill's "This is New" and "You Don't know What Love Is" by Don Raye.
Anders Mogensen studied at Berklee School of Music (1990 - 1992) in Boston and graduated from the Danish Rhythmic Conservatory with Master Degree in music in 1996. He is a sought-after musician on the European jazz scene and has performed with The Brecker Brothers, Bob Berg, Rick Margitza, Steve Swallow and others. The Anders Mogensen Quartet went into the studio after a successful month-long tour of Scandinavia during early 2013 to record this album.
