Description
For her debut CD, pianist Olga Chelova has chosen Robert Schumann's "Kreisleriana", the "Grandes etudes de Paganini" by Franz Liszt and the "16 Waltzes op. 39" by Johannes Brahms in the four-hand version, which she has recorded together with her mentor Philippe Entremont.
Since 2016 Olga Chelova has been a "Young Steinway Artist". In 2019, she received the "International grant for highly gifted artists" from the Ernst Ludwig Studienwerk (ELES) in Berlin. As a prize-winner of this institution, she moved to Paris, where she received important musical stimuli from Maestro Philippe Entremont and performed together with this legendary pianist and conductor.
