Clive Bell is a musician and composer specialising in Far Eastern music. He studied the shakuhachi (Japanese bamboo flute) in Tokyo with the respected performer and composer Kohachiro Miyata, and the khene (Lao mouth-organ) in Laos and Thailand. Here he performs nine lengthy, atmospheric and haunting shakuhachi solos.
