'In the Poet's Garden features choral settings of Shakespeare, Wordsworth, James Weldon Johnson, Charles Causley and others, by John Rutter.Featuring Melanie Marshall (mezzo-soprano), Roderick Williams (baritone), The Cambridge Singers, Taplow Young Voices, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Catrin Finch (harp) and Matthew Jorysz (solo piano), the recording contains a choral celebration, a cycle of Charles Causley settings for mixed choir and harp; 'Three Shakespeare Songs' for unaccompanied mixed choir and 'When music sounds'.
