Well into their 75th year, variety is now the hallmark of the Choir's performances which is reflected in this new CD, with some tracks featuring guest artists Rhydian and young singer Catrin Aur.
The Morriston Orpheus Choir has been entertaining audiences home and abroad for over 75 years and over the years the focus of the Choir has changed ans successive Musical Directors have developed and broadened the repertoire. Whilst the Choir no longer takes part in competitions, its members do not forget the eminence which their predecessors achieved and they constantly stive to maintain the musical excellence in which audiences delight.
Once described as Ambassadors for Wales, the Choir regularly undertakes concert tours overseas having made a number of visits to major cities in North America, New Zealand and Australia.
