Description
One of the most influential drummers of all time, Steve Gadd has set a new standard in contemporary drumming techniques and has performed in many different musical contexts including with Steely Dan, Eric Clapton, Paul Simon and Chick Corea. Joining Gadd on this exciting new project are musical heavyweights Joey DeFrancesco, Ronnie Cuber and Paul Bollenback.
'Live at Voce' was recorded live in an intimate setting in Scottsdale, Arizona and is the first album to be released under the drummers name for over a decade. Featuring a band that's been touring since 2007, their special connectivity is well to the fore in a selection of tunes including standards and appropriately (given the protagonists involved) more groove based material.
