Accompanying Fay is a very large orchestra - more than 120 people, consisting of the WDR Big Band & the Rundfunk Orchester, with conducter/arranger Michael Abene. The result is an extraordinary musical journey with a choice of repertoire indicating Fay's very broad musical interests. Her wholly convincing interpretations of the songs on the album are full of conviction and she makes these totally her own. -
