    At the time of the original LP releases Nat Hentoff wrote:"Miss Harrow, a lithe, dark and very bright New Yorker, has been sitting in at jazz clubs for several years and has been particularly encouraged by pianist Bill Triglia and guitarist Kenny Burrell.
    A couple of summers ago I heard her at the Five Spot, plunging into the marrow of the blues with such intensity and yet supple warmth that I decided that If ever I were asked to assremble some recording dates, she would be among the first on my list.The time came and I enlisted Buck Clayton to select the band and do the writing." The result is this fantastic album whose timely re-release showcases a vocalist that deserved much, much more popularity than she acquired.
