Written in 2004, 'La ciudad de las columnas' (The City of Columns), a nickname for Havana, is an evocative musical journey of various landmarks and images of the Cuban capital. The disc closes with 'Yemaya', inspired by a goddess from the Afro-Cuban Santer?¡a/Yoruba religion, written by Leo Brouwer's close friend and prot?®g?®, Joaqu?¡n Clerch.
