    Tommaso Giordani (1730-1806) was an Italian-born composer active in Dublin and London, known for his operas, chamber music, and popular songs, blending Classical style with accessible melodic charm. World-premiere recordings of six attractive concertos by a Neapolitan flautist-composer celebrated in 18th-century Dublin and London. Each concerto follows a classical three-movement form, but Giordani uses it as a flexible framework for inventive contrasts, expressive depth, and sparkling finales.
