Description
This is his second solo album, and has the same sole ingredient of just bass guitar as his first release. The album is named after Eivind Grovens tune from 1924, and consists of traditional tunes from Telemark/Setesdal, original compositions by Kleppen, and a Miles Davies cover. The music is groovy, melodic, melancholic and suggestive. Recorded live in the studio with no overdubs and produced by Olav Torget. Kleppens first album was given fantastic reviews and won the prestigious Folkelarm Prize in 2018. -
