In just three short years, Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers have established themselves as one of the most popular and respected names in bluegrass music today. Joe Mullins was recently named "Emerging Artist of the Year" by the IBMA. Far from an "overnight success," he grew up living and breathing bluegrass.
Paul Mullins, Joe's father, played fiddle across Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky before becoming a legendary bluegrass diskc jockey. Joe and his father also played together in a bluegrass outfit, Traditional Grass, which enjoyed a superb run for over a decade.
Joe Mullins boasts two previous releases from Rebel Records, including a highly acclaimed gospel record. On his third release, Mullins performs an impressive set of original numbers as well as songs from noted composers such as Bill Anderson, Becky Buller, Dave Evans, and Afton Delmore.
With this strong new record, Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers aim to further their huge radio audience and promote their significant schedule of performances. -
