Chris Jones continues his distinguished work in the bluegrass field with this collection that includes some of his best previous recordings along with several brand new tracks that feature his immediately recognizable baritone voice and guitar playing. Starting as a member of the near-legendary Weary Hearts band (Butch Baldassari, Mike Bub and current AKUS member Ron Block), Jones has gone on to play with numerous well known country and bluegrass groups. These days Chris is travelling more extensively with his fine band as well as maintaining his role as the popular & knowledgeable DJ for SIRIUS/XM radio with his True Grass show. Just one sample of his work here is the powerful “A Hero in Harlan” 8722; one of the best songs penned by Tom T. and Dixie Hall in recent memory.
