Billy's first two albums for Herb Alpert's A&M Records, both recorded in 1972. These recordings spawned two major hits: 'Outa-Space', a US No.2 and 'Will It Go Round In Circles', a US No.1.
An accomplished performer and keyboard player, Preston earned himself musical immortality by playing on the Beatles' sessions from which 'Get Back' came. He died of kidney complications in 2006.
