Description
The third release by French leftfield duo Baron Rétif and Concepción Perez after two EPs on the Musique Large label. It sees them embark on a new direction as their trademark minimal funk flow and singular cosmic hip-hop, is mixed with future dub and soul. Pressed on 180g vinyl and includes a download card.
It includes the single "Where's My Soul" featuring Jacaranda Muse singer Vee Makurati. Unlike many beatmakers, their music is played live, Baron Rétif on drums and sequences and Concepción Perez on the keyboards. Their music is a mixture of their large musical influences, from root reggae to modern beats, infused with soul and jazz.
They have been supported by DJs worldwide, such as Laurent Garnier, Lefto, Gilles Peterson and Michael Ruetten.
