Expertly remastered from the original 78s and packaged with rare photos, the sets also feature extensive notes by John Bealle & Joyce Cauthen. The CDs will appeal to old-timey enthusiasts, historians, musicologists and church choirs. They provide a rare opportunity to hear the music that inspired the Sacred Harp singing on the 'Cold Mountain' movie soundtrack.
