Description
Divus is the duo from Rome comprised of electronic musician Luciano Lamanna and saxophone player Luca T Mai (Zu, Mombu). The collaboration between Lamanna and Mai developes in new territories suprisingly far from their usual sound.
Their influences coming from techno and jazzcore/metal are both left aside in favour of a more nocturnal and atmospheric approach to jazz and electronic music: so dreamy, smokey and dark, It could suit a future sci-fi crime movie shot in one dystopian metropolitan suburb.
DIVUS 3 is their debut on Subsound Records, out in limited edition glow-in-the-dark vinyl & digital in 2025.
