For those not yet in the know, FaMR's music is strikingly beautiful, energetic, melodious post-rock. Along with their energetic live shows, thir debut Reistu Pig Vio e record won them a huge fanbase and a slew of accolades, including favourable comparisons to Explosions in the Sky, Caspian and Godspeed.
Fellow Icelanders Sigur Rós took them on world tour as support and even described them as "a band with the potential to out-Mogwai."
These ten new songs were recorded in the Sigur Rós studio in Iceland with LA producer Scott Hackwith. FaMR have been working with British visual artists on creating a live backdrop for four songs from the album, curated by former Big Chill visual resident, John Rixon.
