Tony Pastor was a well- known and popular figure on the American entertainment scene for around 40 years, as a tenor saxophonist, singer and band leader.
He first came to attention in the original Artie Shaw band before setting out on a successful solo career. His ebullient style of singing and playing proved a great attraction on records, radio and personal appearances.
This 24 track, 71 plus minutes, compilation features Pastor's classic 1940's recordings, most of which feature his Louis Prima style vocals. A great fun CD!
